Python Job: Software Architect -Python

• Help design and build RESTFul APIs using Flask and Python
• Develop a deep understanding of our current systems
• Analyze requirements, and design solutions that follow best practices and fit our current software systems.
• Provide time and resource estimates.
• Provide guidance and advice on best practices and future technologies
• Mentor and train our development team where appropriate.
• Participate in code reviews
• Maintain our Legacy projects mainly written in Python.
• Maintain and use Docker containers

• Python 5+ years experience
• Extensive experience designing and building RESTFul API’s
• Extensive experience with SQL, as well as experience in data modeling of relational databases.
• Extensive experience with Python frameworks such as Flask and a solid understanding of best practices and OOP principles.
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
• A good understanding of how to write Unit tests for Python applications.
• Practical knowledge of Linux Unix based OS
• Practical knowledge of test methodologies, relevant standards, processes, and tools
• Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal English
